Payroll Administrator

Iboss is looking for a Payroll Administrator that will be responsible for managing and administrating the payroll cycle for approximately 225 employees around the US.  The role will be responsible for but not limited to all aspects of processing, compliance, data accuracy, vendor relationships, reporting, and business partnering within the payroll cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely generation of payroll using ADP Platform.
  • Calculate overtime, bonuses and various incentive pays for each payroll.
  • Reconcile payroll, payroll taxes, vacation and time-off, 401 (k) Plan, medical/dental, COBRA short-term disability, long-term disability, etc.
  • Partner with the Accounting team to ensure proper General Ledger feed.
  • Ensure proper head count management through our ADP platform.
  • Support employee’s ad-hoc payroll-related inquires.
  • Ensure timely preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings by ADP.
  • Partner with Accounting team in external audits including various benefit audits (401K, worker’s compensation and etc.), financial statement audits and federal and state taxes audits.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement business policies and procedures designed to ensure compliance, improve processes, and service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • 3-4 years of experience in Payroll and General Accounting.
  • Strong computer skills: including Excel and the ADP interface.
  • High degree of professionalism with demonstrated success in dealing with privileged and sensitive information.
  • Strong problem solving skills, priority setting skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail required.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
